Well I’ve been down with the flu recently.. I still went in for a job yesterday, but thankfully I have nothing to do today so I’m moping around with chicken soup, white tea, and lots of layers . I hope it passes soon !
And I’ve nearly got $8 in earnings at destroy debt. I’ve earned about 50 cents from pageviews on my blog posts- more than on other sites! But helium has added $5 to my account for my first article. I need to write to earn writing stars… but I’m just not in the mood.
I also need to put some jewellery up for sale on ebay. *sigh* Maybe later.

Destroy Debt

So I came across this site / forum about debt and finance and I thought I’d share. Sounds boring? The good news is that they pay $0.05 for every post you make in their forum or on articles. Or $0.20 for every blog post you write!
It’s that easy! Minimum payout is $10 through paypal and after an hour I already have $1. If I spent an hour in the forums every day for a week I think I’d have $10. If I made a few blog posts a day, it’d be even quicker! You also get paid $0.50 for referrals and some of their earnings! Go check it out!

Are you earning money from searching?

Well my friend LauraT from Mylot received £59 from Homepagefriends today! Homepagefriends is a great way of earning extra cash. All you have to do is use their homepage for searching, and earn around 2p for every search you make!
So if you use it 40 times a day (which is how much I use google), then you’d make £24.00 a month! Thats £288 a year from just searching!
You also earn…
# – 10% of Homepages Friend�s 50% (i.e. 5% of the total) revenue generated from those referred directly
# – 5% of Homepages Friend�s 50% (i.e. 2.5% of the total) revenue generated from those referred in turn by those referred directly, a second level of referral
# – 2.5% of the Homepages Friend�s 50% (i.e. 1.25% of the total) revenue from those referred at a third level

If you have 10 referrals all your referrals refer/search as much as you do then each year you’d earn £288 directly from them, £720 from their referrals, £3600 from their referrals referrals! Of course, this only works if you and your referrals have great networking skills and you encourage all your referrals to pass on the search engine, but it could earn you £4896 a year! Imagine what would happen if you had 20 referrals!

I’m definitely going to start using myhomepagefriends again. The minimum payout is £20 and I have £9.30 in my account. I can’t wait until I receive my first payment to my paypal account !

White Tea

White Tea

A friend reccommended white tea to me, and I’ve been drinking a few cups a day since!
White tea is said to have more health benefits than even green tea! Plus, in my opinion, it tastes so much better!
Most brands of white tea come in bags, but white tea tastes much better in loose leaves. (However, it’s much cheaper in bags and can be found in most supermarkets)
White tea tastes just fine without sugar, and is calorie free (some brands might add sweeteners, check the packet). It helps strengthen the immune system, protect against cancers, and lower blood pressure (mine is very high, so white tea is good news for me!)

Back to blogging after 9 months!

So here’s the story of my life at the moment:
I’m engaged! To my sweetheart, Mat. I met him at university and on May 2nd 2008 we went out on our first date (:
The wedding will probably be in May! My parents think it’s rushed, but I know I want to spend my life with him and I can’t wait to have a family with him. My 24th birthday is also in May! Mat’s 26 now and has finished studying at uni. He’s starting to work as an optician.
I finished studying at uni before the summer 08. When I first met Mat I was hairdressing. Then he encouraged me to do something that I enjoyed more, more pay, so I worked in an office. Last September, I met a guy who worked for a beauty + glamour modelling agency (not gonna tell you which) and he “talent spotted” me. I was surprised, since I’m 23 and obviously that’s old for modelling, but since I’m doing swimsuit / lingerie / beauty modelling, I’ve got a nice career ahead of me! That involves photoshoots for catalogues mainly, but some for make-ups. No particularly big brands yet, but it pays more that anything else I’ve done! There can be travelling involved, and having to leave unexpectedly, not sleeping for 48-72 hours. (its hard to sleep when travelling) And I’m thinking of becoming an e-bay seller, too.
Me and Mat don’t live together at the moment. I have my own flat, and even if I stayed in it for a while I’d be paying it off for a bit yet! But Mat lives with friends, and he’s got savings for a deposit for when we get married- we’ll be moving somewhere slightly greener and cheaper (at the moment we live in quite a busy town) and we hope to get a small house with a garden for a family!
I also have two puppies, called Pandora and Flounder. They’re pugs and they’re my babies! (= They’re about 8 months old and they’re siblings. I bought Pandora myself, and Mat bought me Flounder a week later.
